Abstract

The conference mission is to address the Assessment of NeuroAIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.  Regional variations in the epidemiology of neurological disorders related to HIV and the assessment and diagnosis of these disorders will be presented. We will investigate the relevance of NeuroAIDS assessment in resource intensive settings and explore problems in the assessment of NeuroAIDS in Africa, including confounding diseases, applicability of current tools, and cultural relevance to diverse global settings.
